Objects
Date: High School Senior, 2009-10
Time: Several hours
Materials: Crayola Colored Pencil
Description: A key on a ribbon on the top left, a pencil on the bottom left, a opened paperclip on the top right and a dragon circled around an orb on the bottom left. The entire page is split up into squares and the squares with parts of objects in them are colored in red orange and yellow, while the squares without objects in them are colored in green blue and purple/violet.
Artist’s Comments: In Art 2, the assignment was to draw 4 objects. Each edge of the page needed to have an object crossing it. There had to be a grid (of a certain size) and the squares touching the objects had to be colored in either cool colors (green, blue, purple) or warm colors (red, orange, yellow) and the squares not touching objects had to be colored opposite of the squares touching the objects. The bottom right dragon and orb was actually a necklace I got as a present and really liked.
