Shaded Baby Dragon
Date: High School Junior, February, 2009
Time: An hour or more (?)
Materials: Mechanical 0.9 Pencil
Description: A pencil shaded sketch of a baby white dragon that is supposed to be the baby version of my first Dragon art piece. It has a long neck and is standing with its tail curled forward around its body. Its wings are not up and spread out, but down and relaxed next to its body. It has two horns sticking out of its head and spikes along its spine. It has a sort of determined look on its face. Black, white, gray, pencil shading, three-dimensional, realistic.
Artist’s Comments: I traced over the original and shaded it so I wouldn’t lose the original or the line art. I love using my shading skills to make something look amazing.
