Abstract 3
Date: High School Junior, December, 2008
Time: An hour (?)
Materials: Mechanical 0.9 Pencil
Description: pencil drawing of random round and pointed shapes that stretch across the page. There are three or four shapes total, one large one in the middle and two at the top (which look like they could be one but are connected out of the page, and one on the bottom left corner. The center shape is filled with the same pattern as in my Loop drawing, except the lines start and end at a center point. There are four ‘loops’ going out in four directions. The top and bottom shapes are filled with the warped checkerboard pattern and everything else is white. Pencil, black, white, gray.
Artist’s Comments: I was only doodling and adding something similar to the Loop that I had made previously, except the lines start and end at a center point. There are four ‘loops’ going out in four directions and none of them touch each other except at the center where they start and stop. Also added warped checkerboard patterns. I suppose this was just a combination of different things I liked to doodle.
