Dragon 31
Date: College Freshman, December 4th, 2010
Time: An hour or so (?)
Materials: Mechanical 0.9 Pencil
Description: A pencil drawing of a dragon that is scuffed up, bleeding in places, and strapped to the ground, with a strap around its mouth as well. There is a caption above the dragon saying “How can one find beauty in everything?” and another caption below the dragon saying “Still Alive”.
Artist’s Comments: I wanted to draw something that would improve my mood, but I ended up drawing my mood in dragon form. I continued to add on things that made the dragon more depressing, just to try and show how sad I really was. I suppose this is sort of practice on expressing moods with my drawings.
