You can see the new art in the 2012 Art Gallery!
I have added more art to the website, finally! This is art all the way back from 2012 that I never got a chance to get everything together to post on the website. Currently, I don't have the description pages for them yet, but they will come eventually.

I've added Of Heart and Soul Part 11 and Part 12!
I will only be adding the next part when someone requests them from me, whether from a comment in the website, or personally (if you know me in person). I will be waiting for a request comment after each part, so you'll have to keep commenting if you want to read more! (or hope that someone else comments). This is so I can keep track of whether or not people are reading... ~ Also, I've been thinking about in the summer, I might add an email list where people can sign up for it and I will send them emails when I've updated my website.. Perhaps I will separate out who gets an email from where, like if you only want updates on literature, or only updates from poems, or if you want updates on paintings and drawings, or a mixture of anything. This may be hard to do, though, because I'm doing everything pretty much manually... I might also add an email field in comments section so that people can be updated when I reply to their comments, since all they can do now is look at them to see if I replied. ~ Sorry that I haven't been able to add anything as often to my website, I just haven't had the time in college. Upper division Computer Science classes are a lot harder than I imagined they could be. In the summer, hopefully I can catch up on things. For those of you who have been following my updates, you may have noticed that I haven't been updating very much for a while. Well, that's because of college. I figure I should focus more on my education since it is so expensive, so I haven't been drawing very much during the time in which I felt I should be studying instead.
Having said that, I have come to realize that college is a lot more expensive than I thought it would be. I never thought it would come to this, but in a desperate attempt to make some money to help pay for college, I am going to draw a bit for money. I know people probably won't pay all that much for art in this economy, but if you are willing to donate, it will be going to my tuition. (I'm new at this, so please excuse my inexperience with drawing for money) BEFORE: I used to have an options to draw specific art for people, but I realize that is a lot harder than I originally expected. Now I'll just have a donate option so that my art is not limited and will therefore look better. I'm sorry, it's hard for an artist to draw something that isn't from their own vision. NOW: I'll take an hour to draw for every $10 I get donated. You don't have to donate $10, just donate whatever you'd like. However, paypal has a 30 cent plus 2.9% fee for donations (that are from non paypal accounts) which means if you donate $1 you're really donating 67 cents and 33 cents goes to paypal, so the more you donate at once, the less paypal will get in fees and the more you end up donating to my college tuition. (Though, you as the sender can choose to give me a full $1 and pay an extra 33 cents to paypal for the fee I think) Click here to go to the Donation Page. Weebly's website layouts were improved, but since I edit some of the CSS code myself, it took a while to edit the new website layout coding. But I've got it to my specifications now! I always edit the code so that I have the best use of the area given to me and can fit more content on here for everyone.
There's a new banner feature with this layout so I might experiment around and try new banners every now and then, perhaps even have different banners for different pages. Enjoy! I added more art! I drew this for a friend's birthday; he really liked phoenixes. =) Click on the picture to see it in its Gallery, or click here to see the description page. I've added new art to my website! This was actually done last summer, but I finally got around to writing a description and posting it up on the website! Click the picture to go to its gallery page, or click here to go to its description page! I've added a new look to the front page. Hopefully, by putting more of my pictures immediately on the front page, visitors can get a better understanding of what my website contains. In the future, I plan adding more to it so I can get some poetry and literature in there as well.
I've also added "Share" buttons so you can share anything you like on my website with the share buttons on any social network you have. If you don't see yours immediately, you can roll over the right/bottom-most share button and it will show you more options. =) Enjoy! Happy Chinese New Year! In honor of the Chinese Year of the Dragon, I drew a Chinese dragon! I've made a page dedicated to Chinese New Year and will continually update it with my progress in the Chinese Dragon art. Later, when I find more time, I will also have to add a 2012 gallery for my art this year... I have added Colorful Explosion to my 2011 Art Gallery. Once again, I'm adding things that I had done in that year since I had to write a description for it and get it ready to put on the website. College is still taking up a lot of my time, so I'm glad I have things that I can progressively put up and show you from a while back. |
