Life
Date: High School Senior, January, 2010
Materials: Adobe PhotoShop; DigiPro Tablet
I got a tablet! And I drew a tree on the tablet just to test it out. I don’t know why I made the top branch go straight up and the bottom root go straight down…
Bamboo
Date: High School Senior, January, 2010
Materials: Adobe PhotoShop; DigiPro Tablet
I was testing out my tablet again. I don’t know why I felt like drawing bamboo suddenly, but I did.
Bamboo Panda
Date: High School Senior, January, 2010
Materials: Adobe PhotoShop; DigiPro Tablet
It was my friend’s birthday, and he loved pandas, so I added a panda to “Bamboo” for him.

Rose Dragon (20)
Rose Dragon PSd
Date: High School Senior, February, 2010
Materials: Scanned image in mechanical 0.9 pencil; Adobe PhotoShop; DigiPro Tablet
I got my tablet by this time (the one that is not on the screen) so it was easier to color slightly, when you can have different sizes from the pressure sensor.
Rose Dragon PSd (No Lines)
Date: High School Senior, February, 2010
Materials: Scanned image in mechanical 0.9 pencil; Adobe PhotoShop; DigiPro Tablet
I took off the ‘lines’ layer, just to see how it looked, and figured I would save it like that. This picture was not made to be without lines though, so it
Eye
Date: High School Senior, April, 2010
Time: Many hours.
Materials: Adobe PhotoShop, DigiPro Tablet
Description: A picture of a realistic-looking eye, with a blue iris and eye-lashes. Shine. Shaded. Three-dimensional. Close-up. Staring.
Artist Comments: I recorded myself drawing this but I lost a complete section of the recording due to recording malfunctions. (My recorder doesn’t like to record for hours at a time).
I wanted to draw something that looked realistic and since I did so well with anime eyes, I figured I could give realistic eyes a try.
I didn’t do the bottom eyelashes or the eyebrow. The eyelash is not my best feature, but I really like the iris part of this eye.
Dragons 20 PS
Date: High School Senior, April, 2010
Materials: Adobe PhotoShop; DigiPro Tablet
I wanted to record myself drawing in PhotoShop and then make a speed drawing, but my first attempt failed miserably because the program I used did not want to record for long periods of time. But I still like what I did here! I drew the brown dragon first, and then the purple one after I got the hang of drawing with the tablet.
Happy Mothers Day 2010
Date: High School Senior, May, 2010
Materials: Adobe PhotoShop; DigiPro Tablet
It was Mother’s Day! I used my tablet to draw something nice for my mom.
Innocence
Date: College Freshman, August 14th, 2010
Materials: Adobe PhotoShop; DigiPro Tablet
This was for the theme challenge, and the theme was Innocence.
Dragon 26
Date: College Freshman, August, 2010
Materials: Adobe PhotoShop; DigiPro Tablet
I felt like playing around with the smudge tool in PhotoShop. I also wanted to draw something on a black background. Eventually, I made a dragon.
Chinese Dragon (28)
Date: College Freshman, October 30th, 2010
Materials: PhotoShop; DigiPro Tablet
It was around Halloween, and I wanted to draw a Halloween-theme dragon. I still haven’t, but my doodles turned into a Chinese dragon that I colored in. My friend wanted me to put a moon in it, so that is there too.
Drive Lineart
Drive
Date: College Freshman, December 13th, 2010
Materials: Adobe PhotoShop, DigiPro Tablet
I started this a few months before, and was coloring throughout college little by little. This was for the 100-theme challenge. It took a long time considering my computer kept breaking down, and therefore, PhotoShop was inaccessible. I managed to finish it though!
Breathe Again
Date: College Freshman, December 14th, 2010
Materials: Adobe PhotoShop, DigiPro Tablet
This was for the 100-theme challenge. I wanted to do something involving suffocation. So the concept was the want to breathe again instead of breathing again.
