May's Poetry
Along with drawing and taking photography, I also enjoy writing. Here is a small selection of my poetry.
60th Year Anniversary60 years it has been,
60 years I have been with you 60 years of happiness, 60 years since we said 'I do', 60 years of fun filled laughter, 60 years we have been together, 60 years is quite a lot, But 60 years is not forever. There are more years, And more things to come, More time for love, More time for fun! CodedI'm glad you had seen, and
fascinated that you were awed by the amazing truthes that the codes have brought you fact of life is never found, that somehow we will get out, you and i turn ourselves about realized that this, this horrid life sentence, was just a similarity, as sentence of death as well. Coded 2What to do without
believe if you hate no one, but the one that's there wants you to die and is to be your killer? Say no, just neutral, i can only love. The UndersideCome along, now
something interesting awaits fascinations new to see here, just past the gates do not be fooled by their scrawny look they are strong and hardly rusted still with their deepest colors of black the dark, dark paint encrusted and do not fear the symbols upon the gates they pose in dark purple, they clearly state "come in, before we close" and past the gates you'll see the art the wandering soul a thumping heart just past these doors discover the hidden the undiscovered yet unforbidden Join me come with to see what lies in the bottom of the underside |
The Time Is Rightsee the good
ignore the bad wish it lasted try not to be sad write the poems make the speech give the flowers one from each a moment of silence say some words cover the sight chase away the birds show the respect when at long lost breath give wishes from life when encountering death Cherry Blossom Pondthe water ripples
as the coi swim calmly through the pond darting along the lily pad stems hiding in the shadow of the arching bridge above while the cherry blossom petals float softly through the breeze, she waits on the cool stone bench a full blossom drifts beside her grasped in her hand when a tear falls in the pure beauty the beginning of spring SmellA sweet lemon scent
floats in this air the smell of strawberries some apples, a pear, carrots and peas, chocolate and fries, ice cream and whipped cream, then more smells arise, the icing of cake, a small whiff of pie; along the snack table, on my nose, I rely. TouchCool scratchy strands
beneath my feet; and on my skin, tingling warmth of heat. A chill passes through me as I'm hit with the chilling wind, I still love it. A soft tuff of fur against my hand; now on my knee, the light, moist land. Something wet upon my nose; I see all with my eyes closed. |
