Materials: Mechanical 0.9 Pencil
Easter time! Since I knew how to draw dragons this Easter, I made it look somewhat like a bunny, holding a basket of eggs in its mouth. My favorite part? The fluff on the end of the tail!

Date: High School Junior, March, 2009 Materials: Mechanical 0.9 Pencil I was just doodling, looking for something to draw. I tried to practice drawing my hand again, but it was so boring that I just drew a bunch of random lines all over the page. While staring at the lines, I started to see the shape of a dragon. So I drew in the dragon that I saw, and added the legs and stuff, and poof! Random dragon next to a random hand. Date: High School Junior, March, 2009 Materials: Mechanical 0.9 Pencil Originally, I was just drawing the eye, but then I figured I could draw the rest. This was on the edge of the page, so part of her is cut off, and I was only slightly experimenting with the ears, so it’s not like she has three ears or anything. They’re just in different possible positions. Date: High School Junior, March, 2009 Materials: Mechanical 0.9 Pencil Someone requested a drawing of a fairy. They wanted it to look cautious, intelligent, innocent, and curious. I was able to get the look I wanted on the 5th try! (I don’t draw people very well) What other descriptions do you think describe her? Date: High School Junior, January, 2009 Materials: Mechanical 0.9 Pencil After reading a book on dragons that taught me the small things like "baby dragon foreheads are larger than adults", "they have rounder faces", etc, I was finally able to draw the dragon I always wanted to draw. In my opinion, this is still the best dragon I have ever drawn to this day. I suppose my later dragons became more simplified. |
